OBM Solar have been granted Planning Permission for a 110kV Substation and 3km of 110kV underground cables by An Bord Pleanála under Strategic Infrastructure Development Legislation. These works will facilitate the connection of the 131ha Solar Farm Development and 50MW Battery Energy Storage System previously granted Planning Permission, to the National Grid at Derryiron Substation near Rhode, County Offaly. Malone O’Regan prepared the Planning Application Drawings and Engineering Reports on behalf of OBM Solar and have recently carried out a PV Solar Design for an extension to the 131ha Solar Farm.
