PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The development comprised of the the construction of a new 3000m² Oats Mill with and associated site works. The main 30m high building was constructed in precast concrete with ancillary steel framed structures, food grade internal finishes, mechanical ventilation, pipework and electrical installations. external works included the construction of new concrete yard areas and an upgrade of foul and surface water drainage systems including new attenuation tanks. Malone O’Regan were responsible for the design of the civil/structural, utilities, mechanical and electrical elements of the project to suit the main process supply and also managed the building construction, main process supplier and contractors throughout the project. Malone O’Regan also prepared the applications and obtained all the statutory permissions and certificates and acted as Project Supervisor Design Process on the project. Malone O’Regan coordinated the equipment installation which was supplied from overseas and installed by local specialist contractors at appropriate windows in the overall programme.
